Here's how we typically handle Storm Damage Siding Repair calls, from emergency response to full claim support.
This step happens same-day whenever the situation calls for it. Tarps get fastened with furring strips rather than just nails through the tarp material, which tears loose in continued wind.
We inspect for hairline cracking and impact marks that aren't always visible from the ground. We check both the siding and any exposed trim, since hail damage on trim is often more visible than on the panels themselves.
Panels loosened or partially lifted by wind get re-secured or replaced depending on damage extent. Replacement fasteners are set at tighter spacing than standard when wind exposure is a known recurring issue.
We can meet your adjuster on-site if that speeds up your claim. We provide a written damage summary in plain language alongside the photos, not just a raw image folder.
When damage is widespread across multiple elevations, a full re-side is often the more practical and often insurance-covered option. Upgraded impact-rated material is offered as an option for Augusta, GA homeowners in higher hail-frequency areas.
Fallen branches and wind-blown debris cause cracks and holes that get patched or panel-replaced depending on size. We inspect the gutter and downspout near any debris strike, since falling branches often damage more than just the wall.
Dispatch will ask about visible damage and whether water is actively getting in.
We aim for same-day response on active leak calls whenever possible.
We'll flag anything that might be missed during a quick adjuster walkthrough.
Temporary weatherproofing goes on immediately, with permanent repair or replacement scheduled once material and approvals are in place.
Had a tarp up within hours of calling after a tree branch put a hole in our wall — exactly what we needed that night.
They met our adjuster on-site and pointed out cracking he initially missed — got our claim approved for the full amount.
Full re-side after major hail damage looks better than our siding did before the storm.
They checked the whole house for related storm damage, not just the spot we called about.
Active leaks get priority response — don't wait for the next rain.
